The Ultimate Throwback Season. #1LastRun is a year long charity basketball project ran by the New Milton Blackahwks in memory of our friend and team mate William Carling. In 2011 we tragically lost Will to Ewing’s Sarcoma a rare form of Bone Cancer. He was just 21. Many of his friends and family have undertaken incredible fundraising feats for the family’s chosen charity, the Bone Cancer Research Trust. The club have also got involved in our own way with the “Will Carling Classic Basketball Charity games”. As many of our squad are now the wrong side of thirty, we have decided to undertake one big final charity push by scheduling a year long set of Basketball themed fundraising in memory of Will.
